The Eskom Rotek Industries Switchgear Upgrade in Rosherville, stands as a landmark infrastructure project within our portfolio. Delivered for Eskom at its Rotek Industries facility, the project involved the comprehensive upgrade of Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) switchgear across 18 substations, forming a critical part of the site’s electrical distribution network.

The primary objectives were to enhance system safety and reliability, improve long-term maintainability, and ensure full compliance with the latest SANS standards. The upgrade incorporated modern, resettable Low Voltage circuit breakers with adjustable settings to accommodate varying load requirements, providing greater operational flexibility and improved protection coordination.

In addition, our scope included the design and installation of dedicated ventilation systems within all 18 substations to ensure optimal operating conditions and equipment longevity. The successful execution of this large-scale upgrade reinforced our capability to deliver complex, compliance-driven electrical infrastructure projects within high-demand industrial environments, further strengthening our position in the energy and utilities sector
